Kevin Daum - Founder and CEO
Mr. Daum has been in the Real Estate industry for more than
20 years. Licensed as a Real Estate Agent and Loan Officer
in 1983, Mr. Daum was an Underwriter for Plaza Savings and
Loan and Key Bank of New York. He is an INC 500 CEO and has
been listed as one the 40 Most Influential People Under 40
in the San Francisco Bay Area. A respected entrepreneur, Mr.
Daum has built and sold several companies. He is active at
the international level with the Young Entrepreneurs' Organization
(YEO) and was a founding Board member of the Bay Area Chapter
of YEO. Mr. Daum is a frequent contributor to numerous business
publications on the subjects of Real Estate and Small Business
leadership and speaks regularly on both subjects. Considered
the national expert on financing custom homes, he is the co-author
of the successful "Building Your Own Home For Dummies," as
well as the On The Money Editor for Log Homes Illustrated.
Mr. Daum holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Humboldt State
University.
Deanna Daum - President
Ms. Daum has been in the Real Estate Industry for 17 years. Licensed as a Real Estate Agent in 1987. She supported the Real Estate Relocation department for the largest Realty firm in Los Angeles and provided escrow support for D & G Escrow. Ms. Daum has underwritten hundreds of construction loans and has managed hundreds of fundings for Stratford and institutional lenders. With a background in finance and accounting, Ms. Daum has provided contract consulting to several Inc 500 Companies on financial matters. Ms. Daum is a graduate of Mills College with a degree in Anthropology and Sociology.
Merced Cohen - Vice President, Operations
Ms. Cohen is responsible for the care and education afforded to Stratford customers. She has provided expert education and customer care for more than 25 years in the lending industry. She has held Sr. management positions responsible for lending branches with stellar companies such as Plaza Funding, Fleet, and Provident Funding. Most recently she founded and ran her own successful Mortgage Banking firm Nevis Funding in Los Angeles. She has been actively involved in the Construction Lending industry since 1999.
